well i was downloading update for direct 9 and i absently click on a link on driver detective and it immediaty download the installer on my computer i quicky delete it and now scanning with avg free anti virus so will i get a virus ???

i have a computer and the motherboard name is via, and is not letting me download drivers, it is sending me to driver detective, and i will have to pay, so isn’t that better to buy one and replace it

Whilst looking for a separate prog directed to “Driver Detective ” one of those devious sites that lead you on, purporting to help you , then come up with a price at the END of their info. I cancelled download, but on going to XP control panel and trying to delete this prog, the ” change” function does not operate as normal. Any advice on how to delete this prog ? Thanks

Okay, so about 4 or 5 months ago my computer has been running slow, not much but not as satisfactory. My speakers are plugged in correctly, yet no sound is heard; i believe my drivers aren’t updated. I’ve downloaded Driver detective and it tells me that they aren’t. I’ve decided to buy a program that helps me both update my drivers and fix PC errors and improve performance. At the moment i just want to hear sound in my PC.

Registry Mechanic is OK, but it only deals with registry-related problems. Ideally, you’d want something that does more than that and can fix all types of errors + perform maintenance, like disk and registry defragmentation, and disk error fixing. I recommend getting Auslogics BoostSpeed – it has all the tools you need, including a feature called Advisor that will tell you what you can do to make your computer faster (like which services can be disabled, which drivers need updating, etc.)

Use a wired lan connection to go to Dell.com and download/install the driver. If that doesn’t work and you don’t mind spending some money, use a program called Driver Detective. I’ve used it in desperate times and it’s done the trick.

I can’t access Cataclysm areas and some areas of SW on WoW. I’ve troubleshooted the problem and came to the conclusion that my graphics driver is outdated. My graphics driver is a Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family and I tried checking for updates, but it says there are none because it’s a customized one (bought it from Costco). The computer is a HP Pavilion a6747c. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Relativism and Perspectivism seem like almost identical philosophies and I can’t seem to tell either of them apart. They seem to be classified as significantly different, but I don’t understand what the differences are.

In a few sentences, could you clearly tell me what the main difference is between the two philosophies? Thanks in advance!

I have been looking at a dozen or more websites trying to find a distinction between that and perspectivism that is more than just semantics. I don’t see any different. One author, in a piece he called “Terrorism and Perspectivist Philosophy: Understanding Adversarial News Coverage”, even says that terrorism is just a different perspective. How is that any different than cannibalism?

In the end, a detective, a prosecutor, and a judge or jury will ultimately decide that there is no “perspective” except the objective one, and that is neither “relative” nor “perspectivist.”
