im about to download and register for driver detective will this solve my problem?

Driver Detective

will it update my USB ports?
and does it work?

Chosen Answer:

Hi Martha

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!

Forget that garbage and that is a scam for drivers. Your USB don;t need updates. If you are worried about your ports, go to the manufactures site and see if they presented a problem . If not, then why do you want to update your drivers for???????

Go in Device manager….look under USB and if their are no exclamation mark, then you do not NEED TO DO ANYTHING.

No and No. I haven’t heard anything good about that program. And what do you mean by “update” your USB ports? Are they 1.1? Are you trying to get 2.0 USB ports? Because that’s a hardware limitation, not software.

Plus, drivers are ALWAYS free, so paying for drivers is just a scam.

It will tell you if out of date but you have to pay to do an update.

driver magician is the one i used when my sound wasnt working , but thats wierd that your usb ports dont work but driver detective should work in fixing that ,if youre in doubt just download a pirated version but its not reccomended but i never had that problem before so good luck

What are you trying to do?

USB ports don’t even need an operating system to be installed in order to work fine, so I don’t see how downloading drivers would have any effect unless they were for your BIOS, which they won’t be.

Are you sure it’s not a compatibility issue with the devices that you’re trying to plug in?
