Driver Detective 
I just reinstalled XP on my e520 and now I cannot get my sound, ethernet, or usb drivers and hardware to install. Is there anyplace that I can get free drivers. Everywhere I go they just want me to download driver detective and then have to pay to get the drivers installed. Dell does not have the drivers on their site either. any help would be appreciated.

That was one of the items that showed up also….I don’t recall what the file name is now..however, it should be easy to find with a little searching at Dell’s sight (I bet you are saying oh boy)….
Type in E520, and PCI Simple Communication Controller….and it will come up with a number file… LIke…R118968…and in fact..try this driver..it is a PCI driver..it may be the one I used..I don’t recall..
